Data We Process
We process contact details, Salon registration details, account-access information, your stated preferences, such as your choice to join a Pilates or yoga session, and any communications you have with us.
If you choose to undergo an optional diagnostic test at a GEVITY Salon, such as a blood test, ECG, or body scan, we also process the health-related results of that test, based on your explicit consent given at the time.
Purposes and Legal Bases
We process this data to handle your Salon registration, create and manage your Member Space account, send secure sign-in links, manage attendance, and respond to your enquiries. The legal basis for this is the performance of our contract with you, or, where no contract is in place yet, our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
Where you choose to undergo an optional diagnostic test, we process the resulting health data solely to provide you with your results and any related insight, based on your explicit consent. This consent is requested separately, at the time of the test, and you may decline any test without affecting your participation in the rest of the event.
Recipients and Processors
We share data with service providers who support us in running GEVITY Salons and our website, including our payment provider. Where you undergo an optional diagnostic test, the relevant results are processed by the specialist external partner who performs that test, acting under their own professional and clinical responsibility. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where this is the case, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, for example statutory retention periods that apply to accounting records. We are finalising specific retention periods for health-related data with legal advice; until this is complete, we retain it only for as long as needed to provide you with your results, and no longer than necessary.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Member Space and staff area use a security-related session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is necessary for the service you've requested and doesn't require separate consent. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or other optional cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first, where required.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, restrict or object to certain processing, or ask us to transfer your data elsewhere. You may withdraw any consent you've given at any time, with future effect, by contacting inquiry@thegevity.club.
You may also lodge a complaint with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, the supervisory authority responsible for companies based in North Rhine-Westphalia.
