Scope and Provider
These terms apply to registrations for the GEVITY Salon and related services offered by GEVITY GmbH i.G., Schinkelstraße 75, 40211 Düsseldorf, Germany (“GEVITY,” “we,” “us”).
The GEVITY Salon is a company brand event. It includes movement activities such as Pilates or yoga, participation in which is optional, and activities including a shared lunch. Attendees additionally have the option, on a voluntary basis, to undergo a capillary blood test, an ECG, and a 3D body scan. These optional health assessments are carried out in cooperation with specialist external partners, each acting under their own professional and clinical responsibility.
Salon Registration and Payment
Registration for a GEVITY Salon is completed via the payment process on our website, operated using Stripe as our payment service provider. The registration fee is €70.00 per person (€58.82 plus statutory German VAT at 19%, €11.18). This fee covers participation in the GEVITY Salon, including the optional diagnostic tests offered on-site and the seated lunch. It does not include travel, accommodation, or any service not explicitly listed.
A binding contract between the attendee and GEVITY is formed once payment has been successfully processed by Stripe and GEVITY has confirmed the attendee’s place for the selected date. Places are limited and allocated in the order registrations are completed; once a cohort reaches capacity, further registrations are placed on a waitlist with a visible position.
Cancellation, Transfers and Refunds
Because this booking is for a leisure event tied to a specific date, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right otherwise available for distance contracts does not apply, pursuant to § 312g (2) no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
Independently of this, GEVITY offers the following flexibility. If an attendee is unable to attend their confirmed Salon date, their registration fee will be credited in full toward their place at the next available GEVITY Salon. To arrange this, the attendee must notify GEVITY by emailing inquiry@thegevity.club before their originally confirmed date. Notification received after the event date, or a no-show without prior notice, forfeits this option.
Membership
Founding Membership at GEVITY is available by introduction only. The opportunity to apply arises specifically through attendance at a GEVITY Salon, where attendees may sign up for Founding Membership in person during the event, or at any time afterward.
Signing up requires a €300 sign-up fee. This fee is credited in full toward the member’s first regular membership payment once the GEVITY club opens. If the club does not open for reasons beyond GEVITY’s control, or if the individual withdraws their Founding Membership commitment before the club opens, GEVITY will refund the €300 fee in full. The full terms of GEVITY membership, including its duration, pricing, and renewal, are set out in a separate Membership Agreement provided to each Founding Member at the time of sign-up.
Health and Participation
By registering for and attending a GEVITY Salon, the attendee confirms that they are in a physical and mental condition that allows safe participation in the event’s activities, including any movement activities and any optional diagnostic tests they choose to undergo.
Before undergoing any voluntary test, the attendee must inform the attending physician or qualified staff member of any relevant medical conditions, medications, or circumstances that could affect the safety of the test or the accuracy of its results. By attending, the attendee also confirms that they have informed GEVITY in advance of any known allergies or intolerances relevant to the event, including the lunch service.
All diagnostic tests offered at a GEVITY Salon are voluntary. An attendee may decline any or all tests at any point without affecting their participation in the rest of the event.
Liability
GEVITY is liable without limitation for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health.
For damage caused by ordinary negligence, GEVITY is liable only in the event of a breach of a material contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfillment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on which the attendee may reasonably rely. In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
Liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) remains unaffected. Where GEVITY’s liability is excluded or limited under this section, this also applies to the personal liability of GEVITY’s employees, representatives, and vicarious agents.
The optional blood test, ECG, and 3D body scan are performed by specialist external partners under their own professional and clinical responsibility. GEVITY’s role is limited to organizing and hosting the event at which these services are made available.
